How we work
Four stages, and a report every Friday in between.
You always know which stage you are in, what it costs so far and what we need from you next. This is the whole process, start to finish.

Stage 1 · Free · One hour
Site visit
Jess comes to the house. She measures, looks at the structure, the drains and the access, and talks budget with you honestly. Before she leaves you have a cost range, and a view on whether the job is worth doing at all.

Stage 2 · About 3 weeks
Fixed price
We survey, bring in the engineer and price the drawings line by line. If we are designing it, Tom draws it first. You get one figure, the schedule behind it and a programme by week.

Stage 3 · Every Friday
Build and report
Samuel is on site every day and writes your report every Friday: photos, progress against the programme, money spent and anything we need you to decide. Changes are priced on a change note before they are built.

Stage 4 · Handover, then month 12
Handover and return
We walk the job with you and fix the snags. You get the certificates, the warranties and the paint colours in one file. A year later we come back and fix whatever has moved.

Payments
You pay after each stage, never ahead of it.
A typical extension, as a share of the fixed price. Your schedule is in the fixed price document before you sign.
On signing
Nothing. We do not take a deposit.
